In the first month of every year, technology companies from around the globe come to CES in Las Vegas, USA to show off their latest and most technological products. It is the biggest gadget show of the year and this year we have seen what the future might look like.
There were thousands of products at CES 2018. One of the main headlines at this year’s CES was the power outage that left the show blacked out for 2 hours.

There were many amazing wearable gadgets on show at CES 2018. Some of the best wearables include running watches and fitness trackers, as well as high-end smartwatches.
Some of the best wearables of CES 2018 include: Garmin Forerunner 645 Music, Casio G-Shock Rangeman and Suunto 3 Fitness.
Our favourite wearable has to be the L’Oréal UV Sense.
L’Oréal UV Sense is a tiny wearable device that can detect UV and help protect you from skin cancer. The device is so tiny that you wear it on your fingernail and it can store three months data.
The L’Oréal UV Sense works without the need of a battery and can track UV radiation, temperatures and send data straight to your mobile app via Near Field Communication (NFC).
Laptops are one of the hottest products that appear every year at CES. This year there were a lot of fantastic laptops. Companies like Dell, Lenovo and Acer have showcased their latest laptops at CES 2018.
Some of the best laptops include: Dell XPS 13, Lenovo Miix 360 and Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Carbon and Yoga.
Our top laptop has to go to the Acer Swift 7 .
Acer Swift 7 is the thinnest laptop in the world. It comes with a 14 inch screen and with a built-in fingerprint sensor. It is thinner than many of the latest smartphones in the market.
The Acer Swift 7 is a little bit more expensive than its predecessor and it is going to retail at $1,699, which was the most expensive laptop to be featured during CES 2018.
The laptop comes with the option of 4G LTE connectivity. It features a touchscreen and comes with an amazing battery than can last upto 10 hours.
Robots are probably one of the most exciting categories at all CES events. Every year a new range of amazing robots are showcased and this year was no different.
CES 2018 showcased both weird and wonderful robots. Robotics Strippers grabbed a lot of headlines. What these robots basically do is pole-dance.
Some of the other cool robots include: Blue Frog’s Buddy which is a smart in-home assistant robot and Omron’s Ping Pong Bot which is a robot that has mastered the sport of table tennis. It was a close call between the two best robots Sophia and Sony’s Aibo. Our best robot at CES has to go to Sony’s Aibo.
Sony’s Aibo comes is a robotic dog that comes with OLED light-emitting display. Aibo comes with many features and emotions. There are a few touch sensors around aibo so you can pet it, and it comes with a camera so that it can recognize people.
VR has been a very hot topic over the last couple of years and at CES 2018 VR did not fail to impress. One of the biggest announcements at this years CES was the HTC Vive Pro.
It has 78 percent more pixels than the current Viva and comes with integrated high-quality audio. HTC Vive Pro headset had great competition other VR headsets but it is the clear winner.
Much like VR, drones have been a very hot topic in recent times. Each year more powerful and advances drones are released. During the last couple of years drones have been more and more dominating CES.
There were amazing drones at CES 2018, some of the best drones to feature were Uvify Oori, Yuneec Typhoon and AEE Selfly.
Our best drone has to go to AirSelfie 2. This is a new and improved from the Airselfie that was released on Kickstarter in 2016. It comes with a better camera at 12 megapixels and improved battery life.
AirSelfie 2 comes with a huge 16GB memory for all your pictures and videos. It is going to be available in March 2018 and will retail for $300.
This year’s CES was filled with technology that is going to change the future, there were many categories at CES including health, fitness, televisions, apps, cars and many more.
